At 14:01 on March 5th, the Xichang Satellite Launch Center used the CZ-2C carrier rocket to successfully send the six LEO broadband communication satellites developed in batches for the first time in China – GalaxySpace 02 mass-produced satellites into the predetermined orbit. The mission was carried out smoothly, and the TY-SPACE mass-produced star trackers in orbit performed stably and well. Once again, it shows that TY-SPACE star tracker mass production technology is becoming mature, and it is stably and reliably applied to broadband communication mass production satellites, and its application for the commercial aerospace industry has entered a new era.
LEO broadband communication satellites by GalaxySpace are internationally advanced, which independently developed and mass-produced by GalaxySpace. The designed communication capacity of a single satellite exceeds 40Gbps, and the average weight of the satellite is about 190Kg. These six satellites will form chinese first LEO broadband communication test constellation together with GalaxySpace 5G test satellite (also using TY-SPACE star tracker) in orbit and will build a satellite-ground integrated 5G test network “little spider web”, with a single The uninterrupted, low-latency broadband communication service capability of about 30 minutes per time can be used for technical verification of chinese LEO satellite Internet and space-ground integrated network.
