Starry sky via YangWang-1, when the Leonard passes by

Origin Space’s “Yangwang-1” satellite captured the view of the C/2021 A1 Comet Leonard with the background of the northern lights. Once in 80000 years, the C/2021 A1 Comet Leonard was closest to Earth, which was reaching perihelion on January 3rd 2022.

The “Yangwang-1” satellite is the first commercial astronomical space probe in China, and also be used for professional research and public promotion. TY-SPACE PST3S series star trackers is orbital working for “Yangwang-1”’s attitude positioning.
