TY-SPACE Star Tracker Application: InSAR Satellites in Wheel-pattern Formation

TY-Space April 3, 2023

Congratulations to the world’s first wheel-pattern satellite formation: “Hongtu-1” was successfully in orbit on March 30, 2023!

Star Tracker Service For InSAR

“Hongtu-1, Group 01” satellites are four Interferometric Synthetic Aperture Radar (InSAR) satellites developed by GALAXYSPACE. It is the first independent research and development, and the world’s first multi-satellite distributed InSAR system that adopts a four-star wheel-pattern formation configuration. Compared with the traditional interferometric satellite system, the wheel-pattern formation has the advantages of a relatively stable formation configuration, more interference baselines, and high surveying and mapping efficiency. It has sub-meter-level high-resolution wide-format imaging capabilities and can conduct high-quality imaging observations of the ground around all times and in all weather. This technology has reached the international leading level.

It is a great honor for the TY-SPACE  PST4S-H1 star tracker to provide stable attitude control services for these successful satellites.
