Now the HS-2 satellite has been in stable operation for one year, the designated target has been imaged and downloaded, and all planned and designated tasksmissions have been successfully completed.

HS-2 satellite
is jointly invested and developed by Shenzhen Aerospace Dongfanghong Satellite, Ltd. and Xiamen University. It is a micro-nano optical remote sensing satellite that aims to observe the ecological environment of the ocean, near-shore shallow sea, and inland water bodies.
The HS-2 satellite got 7-8 daily imaging target points, and the total imagings over 2,800 times in the past year. Responded to many urgent shooting needs, the HS-2 imaged targets include the coastal port cities, inland lakes and other waters of China. At the same time, closely following the hotspot events, it completed urgent task imaging of hotspots such as Shenzhen Dapeng Bay Noctiluca, Antarctic scientific research, and so on.
