Kuaizhou 1A rocket successfully launched five micro-satellites (Jiaotong 6-10 satellites) for the Head 3 constellation from the Xichang Satellite Launch Center on Aug. 14, 2023. Hede 3 constellation A-E satellites has applied PST3S-H5 star trackers by TYspace technology.
Hede 3 constellation A-E satellites (Jiaotong 6-10 satellites) are networking transportation VDES satellites of Beijing Hede Aerospace Technology Co., Ltd.’s satellite system. The global new generation VDES maritime communication system mainly used for the integrated transportation safety guarantee system of “land-sea-air-space”. The transportation VDES satellite system is the fundamental guarantee for intelligent maritime communication, ocean situational awareness, and intelligent ocean exploration, and can provide global coverage of satellite IoT communication services and aircraft supervision services in the navigation field. It will become an important component of the Global Maritime Distress and Safety System (GMDSS).
Hede 3 A-E satellites are the follow-up mission to Hede 2 H satellite, which was successfully launched into orbit in 2022. Currently there are 11 satellites of this Hede 3 constellation and they also used star trackers from TYspace technology, from PST3S-H1 to PST3S-H5, updated a robust power system. It has the characteristics of small size, low energy consumption, and high accuracy, as well as the functions of attitude data transmission and real-time image transmission in orbit.
As a leading enterprise in star tracker industry in China, TYspace technology has successfully achieved over 300 star trackers in orbit operation. The leather type (PST series) star tracker independently developed and produced by TYspace technology is currently the world’s smallest and lightest low-power fully autonomous system high-precision star tracker. At the same time, TYspace technology also provide NST series products with dynamic performance up to 20 °/S, products with pointing/rotating accuracy up to 1 arcsecond, HST series products with pointing/rotating accuracy up to 0.3 arcsecond, as well as other high-quality products such as star simulators and sun sensors. The technical team of TYspace technology has been deeply involved in the satellite parts manufacturing industry for 20 years, with strong strength and mature and successful product development and operation experience in the research and development of star trackers and attitude modules. With a supply volume of over 2000+ products per year, TYspace serve for various global partners. We look forward to further cooperation with clients all over the world!
