At 14:01 on March 5th, at the Xichang Satellite Launch Center, by the Long March 2C carrier rocket, six low-orbit broadband communication satellites successfully launch out. As the first batch-produced satellites in China, the Galaxy-space 02 launch into the predetermined orbit, and its’ space-mission was carried out smoothly. The TY-SPACE mass-produced star sensors in orbit performed stably and successfully. Once again, it shows that TY-SPACE star tracker’s mass production technology is becoming mature, TY-SPACE star tracker is stably and reliably applied to LEO broadband communication satellites, and TY-SPACE star tracker’s application has entered a new stage of commercial mass production.in the commercial aerospace field.
Galaxy-space 02 Batch Production Satellites internationally advanced LEO broadband communication satellites independently developed and mass-produced by Galaxy-space. The designed communication capacity of a single satellite exceeds 40Gbps, and the average weight of the satellite is about 190Kg. These six satellites will form the first LEO broadband communication test constellation in China, together with the first satellite of Galaxy-space (also using TY-SPACE Star Tracker) in orbit, and will build a satellite-ground integrated 5G test network “little spider web”, with a single The uninterrupted, low-latency broadband communication service capability of about 30 minutes per time can be used for technical verification of LEO satellite Internet and space-ground integrated network in China.
