“ At 15:08 Beijing time on February 27, 2025, China successfully launched the Four Dimensional Gaojing-1 03 and 04 satellites into orbit using the Long March 2C carrier rocket from the Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center. The satellites entered their designated orbit and the launch mission was a complete success. Four high-precision and high dynamic star sensors of the TY Space NST20-G3 model were applied to the 03 and 04 stars of the Siwei Gaojing 1 spacecraft.”

NST20-G3

Four dimensional Gaojing No.1
The 4D Gaojing-1 03 and 04 satellites are important components of China’s 4D new generation commercial remote sensing satellite system. In orbit, they will be networked with previously launched 4D wide optical satellites and 4D SAR satellites, greatly improving the data acquisition and application efficiency of ultra-high resolution visible light satellites. The Four Dimensional Gaojing-1 03 and 04 satellites operate in a sun synchronous orbit at an altitude of 500 kilometers, with features such as ultra-high resolution imaging, ultra-high agile control, and ultra-high positioning accuracy. Their comprehensive performance reaches the international advanced level of commercial satellites. The previously successful launch and operation of the Four Dimensional Gaojing 3-01 satellite in April 2024 also utilized the TY Space NST20-G3 as its core component for attitude determination.Following the development trend of the “star era” in commercial aerospace, TY Space has taken the lead in achieving mass production of star sensors in China. Automated batch production has been achieved for board level screening, electronic testing, whole machine thermal cycling, thermal vacuum vibration, and field observation of stars. All test reports and results are automatically output, and the remote monitoring process is clear and more efficient. The annual output can reach 2000 sets, which can meet the batch requirements of satellite factories for high-performance, high reliability, high output, and high delivery speed of star sensor products. As of now, more than 550 units of TY Space star trackere products have been successfully operated in orbit!
