On January 17, 2022, “Shiyan 13 experimental satellite” was successfully launched from the Taiyuan Satellite Launch Center and entered the predetermined orbit. TY-SPACE N4G star trackers provide astronomical attitude positioning services for Shiyan13’s journey in the space.
“Shiyan 13 experimental satellite” was developed by the Institute of Innovation Academy for Microsatellites of Chinese Academy of Science (Microsat). It is mainly used to carry out space environment detection and related technology verification tests. The satellite will further enhance national space environment detection capabilities and create a new situation in space environment detection.
This mission is the 40th satellite launch of Microsat, and it is also the 11th time that TY-SPACE star tracker has been used to provide services for Microsat.
